What is the Lions' Lap?

The Lions' Lap is a walk-a-thon and it is the St. Mark School Council's only fundraiser of the year.  Our students work hard to raise funds that are used by the School Council to support student activities and purchase items that are not covered by the School Board and Ministry of Education. For more details on activities and purchases that we have funded, please click here.

The St. Mark School Council has been organizing a walk-a-thon since 2000, and  in 2017 re-branded the walk as the "Lions' Lap". This is our chance to show how much we love our school, to help out in a practical way, and to have a ton of fun in the process!

How does it work?

St. Mark students will ask friends, neighbors, family members. and anyone else they can think of to donate to our cause. To collect donations, they may share a paper donation form and collect cash or cheques, or they may share this website as a way to connect you to our donation page.

On the day of the event, students will walk a 5km loop and enjoy a day of activities. For details of this year's event, please see the Event Day page.

Your generosity is greatly appreciated!
