We always need help on event day!
Please consider joining us for any of the following. We also welcome your comments/questions about Lions' Lap.
10-12 volunteers needed to help with the food & BBQ. It’s lots of fun & fast paced. Duties between 8:15 am – 11:30 am are:
- Help unload delivery of food
- Set up tables & heat BBQ’s
- BBQ & wrap hot dogs
- Serve hot dogs, freezies & cookies
- Prepare & refill drink containers
- Clean up
If you’re unable to come to the event but still want to help - we also need people to bake 50 tubes of Pillsbury Chocolate Chunk Cookies.
Between 8:15 am - 11:30 am - 10 volunteers stationed along the route in our school neighborhood to ensure that students are safe, behaving appropriately & having fun. Sign-up with a friend for some catch-up time.
Between 8:30 am to 12:30 pm - 6-8 volunteers needed to help count cash & tally pledge forms on event day. There may also be an additional shift prior to event day to get-ahead of the high volume of pledge forms / cash received on final day. Details will be communicated by Council’s Treasurer in advance.
Coffee & treats will help start your day & Subway lunch will be offered to all volunteers!

Lions' Lap is the annual FUNdraiser supporting our students. It’s a great way to meet other parents and have lots of fun! Volunteers are also welcome to stay for the annual Talent Show after their free Subway lunch.
